The Scan menu, which is located on the right hand corner of the top menubar allows accessing the Network Device Discovery page. The Scan feature of blësk allows discovering devices using the IP address or Hostname without any need for manual configuration.
The blësk Network Device Discovery (NDD) tool is one of the most convenient tools, available for all the modules of blësk used to scan for devices within the network. The main purpose NDD is to export scanned hosts into the blësk to be monitored. Without the NDD feature, the hosts would need to be added to NCM manually.
